Mind Over Matter

This lettering is another exploration of overlaying colors and is the second piece in this particular style, where I mix not only colors but also styles. While the pink and yellow form the base, the blue on top breaks out with a more slanted, dynamic style.

Why Not?

I am always experimenting with new color combinations using this technique. The effect of the colors spreading in the water and mixing always surprises me, just like the first time I discovered it. For this artwork, I built the base with purple liquid watercolor, added neon orange acrylic ink details, and finished with touches of turquoise acrylic ink. To complete the artwork, I added fine "shaky outlines" with a fineliner.

Make Your Mark

This piece revives a style I experimented with in 2018, which I haven't revisited for five years. Back then, I achieved this overlaying effect with white lettering on top and black lettering underneath digitally. This time, I wanted to create it using traditional methods, sparking my interest in this style direction again.
